New Horizon
Just Photography
There's no epic mission behind New Horizon. It all started from a simple need: I wanted to shoot in the 6x17 panoramic format, but the market options were either too expensive or too heavy.
So I decided to build one myself. I combined my love for film – that magical moment where you don't know what you've got until you develop it – with the practicality of 3D printing.
Made to be Used
I use PLA and Carbon Fiber not because they sound cool in marketing, but because they work. They make the camera light enough to throw in a backpack for a hike, without worrying about scratching a museum piece.
It's an "open" tool. If a part breaks, you reprint or replace it. No sealed black boxes. It's honest, mechanical photography, where you take the picture, not a sensor.
